Robert D. Riley Freshman Scholarship Application
The Robert D. Riley Scholarship Fund is established at The University of Texas at Arlington to support full-time non-Honors undergraduate students. The scholarships will be awarded and administered through the Honors College at The University of Texas at Arlington. The Honors College Scholarship Committee shall award these scholarships to students who show both academic promise and financial need. This scholarship is available to full-time freshman students. The amount rewarded will be $4,000 per year for 4 years. Lastly, the number of awards given depends on available funds.

Michelle Bobadilla Bridge to Excellence Scholarship
Established to honor the community outreach and partnership efforts of Michelle Bobadilla, the Bridge to Excellence Scholarship encourages deserving students to bridge the gap between dreams and reality through education. First generation entering freshmen (graduate of a DISD high school in the top %25 of the graduating class, with a minimum test score of 1000 SAT/22 ACT or college transfers (direct transfer from DCCCD with a minimum of 24 DCCCD college hours completed with a cumulative GPA of 3.0) may apply.

Centennial Scholarship
Jointly sponsored by the UTA Alumni Association and the Student Affairs Division, this scholarship provides support for deserving and academically promising first-generation college students who are entering freshmen or new transfers to UTA. Transfer students are required to have an overall GPA of 3.0 on a minimum of 24 hours. Demonstrated community service is also a factor in awarding this $1,000 per year scholarship. Renewals require a minimum UTA GPA of 2.75 on 24 hours completed during the fall and spring semesters.

Wayne Duke Student Leadership Scholarship
Established to recognize students with demonstrated community and campus leadership, the scholarship requires minimum test scores of 900 SAT/19 ACT or class ranking in the top %25 of the graduating class. The application process includes a short essay. US citizenship or permanent residence is required.

President’s Outreach Scholarship
The President’s Outreach Scholarship recognizes high achieving entering freshmen who have graduated from public high school in Texas in the top 20% or top 25% of the graduating class. A rigorous academic program of study, such as IB designation or AP and/or Honors coursework will also be required. This $2,000 scholarship award may be renewed for up to four years of undergraduate study.
